Learning & Teaching
Elements of sustainability are incorporated into several courses at the University, including modules within our Education Studies, Psychology, Theology, and Business programmes.
Funding for innovative student-driven projects, including projects linked to sustainability, is available to the BGU community from the Centre for Enhancement in Learning and Teaching (CELT), through initiatives such as their Student Engagement Innovation Fund (SEIF) and Learning & Teaching Innovation Fund (LTIF). Enquiries should be made to celt@bishopg.ac.uk. The latest round of SEIF and LTIF funding was awarded in February 2023. No sustainability-related applications were received, but multiple projects were ultimately supported and involved students from a range of programmes.
Our learners can sign up to be part of the University’s Enactus team, which directly relates to the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
Global Citizenship is one of our University’s six Graduate Attributes; learners can work towards our Graduate Attributes Excellence Award to enhance their personal skills and ensure they stand out from the crowd.
