Special Educational Needs (SEN)
You will explore different categories of need including; cognition & learning, social,emotional and mental health, sensory and communication needs. Modules cover the broad spectrum to focus upon specific and more complex needs. You will challenge your own beliefs and values, as well as those of others, and become an advocate for change. -
Professional Studies
Have you ever thought about working towards a degree, but decided against it as you are already in employment or volunteering and don’t want to give that up? Our Professional Studies Foundation Degrees and BA (Hons) Top Up Degrees are designed for those working or volunteering with children and young people in a wide variety of settings. Here at BGU, we value the knowledge and experience you have gained so far in your career and want to help you expand on this to enhance the support provided for children and young people. This work-focused degree is a combination of practice-based learning and campus-based taught sessions which run once a week so that you are able to continue in employment or volunteering throughout the duration of the course. -
