A Matriculation Ceremony is held annually at BGU to welcome all new students to Bishop Grosseteste University and is usually held in Lincoln Cathedral. Due to Covid 19 we are unable to host the ceremony in the Cathedral but we have the pleasure in running a virtual Matriculation Ceremony filmed in the University Chapel.

Matriculation is the term used to describe students’ formal entry into the University and is described in the University’s Regulations as “the act of placing a student’s name upon the matricula or roll of members of the University.”

We would like to officially welcome you to Bishop Grosseteste University and we hope you enjoy your time with us.

You can watch the full virtual ceremony below.
