BGU is a member of eduroam UK and this service is operated nationally – offering internet access to the visiting students, researchers and staff in the UK and abroad.
The University operates the local eduroam service which is available for members of other academic institutions to use while visiting the University and Bishop Grosseteste Staff and Students visiting other participating universities.
How to use eduroam
To use the system you will need to log on using your BGU username and password. To login to sites that are not part of Bishop Grosseteste University network you will need to use your username in full:
Staff: <your username>@bishopg.ac.uk
Students: <your username>@student.bishopg.ac.uk

Code of Practice
While at a participating site, you are bound by the acceptable use policy of the site you are visiting. Failure to adhere to these policies could result in suspension of service at your home site and disciplinary procedures.
