Taking place over the 8th and 9th of February at BGU, the ‘Team 4 Learning’ conference is a collaborative event for existing and budding entrepreneurs. Attendees will have the opportunity to make exciting international connections along with discovering new ways of developing both their skills and their businesses.

Speakers at the event include guests from Finland and Australia along with local entrepreneurs and representatives from the TEDx programme. A range of networking events in addition to tours of Lincoln will also be available to delegates.

The entire event has been designed and project managed by students from the BA (Hons) Business (Team Entrepreneurship) programme who attended the previous conference, held in the Finnish city of Jyvaskyla, the birth place of the Team Academy Initiative last year.

The event gave the students a chance to present their work and compare practices with peers from around the world and find opportunities for international networking. It was as a result of the impact made by the BGU delegation that the University was asked to host the 2019 conference.

Chris Sandham, Project Lead for the conference and second year BGU student, praised the work of his team and discussed what attendees could expect:

“I am extremely proud to be leading and organising such a huge international event, and can’t wait to see it come to fruition.

"With the help of my project team, I think we have designed a programme that will provide all of our guests with an excellent learning and social experience, and I am personally really excited to network with such a diverse group of entrepreneurs and coaches.”

Dr Elinor Vettraino, Head Coach and Programme Leader for Business and Enterprise at BGU, described her excitement at bringing the conference to BGU:

“It is an immense privilege to be hosting this year’s Team 4 Learning conference. Since launching our Team Entrepreneurship course we’ve seen a wealth of fantastic enterprising students grow and develop at BGU. To now have the opportunity to bring those students to an international audience is an exciting prospect"

The conference is open to commercial businesses as well as entrepreneurs. You can find a full event programme and information on how to book your place at this exciting conference at the official conference website.
