The Archaeological Specialist Apprenticeship has been devised to provide apprentices with wide-ranging, advanced archaeological skills, whilst earning and gaining real work experience.
Over the course of the programme, you will be taught key methods that are employed in modern archaeological fieldwork. You will be involved in the whole archaeological process from planning projects, surveying, preliminary investigation, excavation, post-excavation, analysis, report writing, and archiving.
Under the supervision of our expert staff, you will develop your knowledge and skills so that you are able to lead and undertake wide ranging archaeological research, with a high level of responsibility for the delivery and quality of your own work and that of others.
