Travelling by Rail

Lincoln is linked by train to some of the UK’s major cities including Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds and London (through London King’s Cross train station). There is only one train station in Lincoln, called Lincoln Central, and it is conveniently located between Lincoln’s High Street and Central Bus Station. Travellers can find taxis immediately outside Lincoln train station and a taxi to the BGU campus usually costs around £5.00-£10.00 (depending on the time of day/night).

If you are arriving with luggage, we would strongly recommend either taking a bus or a taxi ride to the BGU campus as, in order to reach the University, travellers have to ascend Lincoln’s famous Steep Hill (an approx. 200ft/61m climb), known as England’s fourth steepest street.
