The language of Christmas adverts - win £250!

Christmas 2020 will be very different to what we are all used to - for very obvious reasons. To get you into the festive spirit, we’re running a competition to win £250 in cash. To be in with a chance of winning, simply choose your favourite Christmas advert and discuss how it uses language and images to construct meanings and good feelings over the festive period (maximum 400 words).

The winner will be announced on 18th December 2020 and our favourite submissions will be published on the BGU website.

Simply fill out the form on this page and we will be in touch with guidance on how to submit your essay for a chance to win!

TESOL at BGU

When I finish this course I want to go straight back into my role as a language teacher, only this time I want to be as effective and efficient as the course has taught me to be. I started the course with a solid understanding of linguistics but what the course has given me is the knowledge and skills to really teach others, which has taken my abilities to a whole new level.
